Airvet Product Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join a sharp, entrepreneurial team and have a real impact. We are seeking a talented Product Manager who has a passion for solving problems and building products customers want to use. We’re seeking an experienced product manager that transforms feedback and analytics into features and roadmaps that drive product enhancements which increase conversion and engagement.

Airvet is a fast-growing start-up based in Los Angeles that just closed a $14m series A round. Our telemedicine platform helps pet parents and their beloved pets easily access professional veterinary care and enables veterinary practices to extend their client relationships.  During these unprecedented times, Airvet has continued to grow and thrive by offering unique product solutions to both businesses and pet parents in new and creative ways.

What You’ll Do

  • Contribute to the strategy, vision, prioritization and execution of product features and tests relating to our pet parent and hospital experience across desktop and mobile.
  • Work cross functionally to define use cases, features, and product requirements
  • Ideate and develop features that will meet assigned KPIs around funnel conversion, volume growth and usage.
  • Identify areas of opportunity for growth within the business through diving into the conversion funnel, customer experiences and data.
  • Clearly articulate product concepts cross-functionally - engineering, executive, UX/UI, legal, finance, client, and customer service teams.
  • Jump into the data surrounding both pet parents and hospitals to uncover product optimizations and broader market opportunities.

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years in product management with ownership over specific areas and KPI's.
  • Demonstrated record of launching successful SaaS products.
  • Passion for and ability to understand customer needs and deliver great solutions. A track record for building software that is easy to use with exceptional user experience.
  • Experience with leading competitive research, customer research and survey methods.
  • Experience with data analytics – knowing what data to ask for in order to validate tests and hypothesis as well as the ability to dive into the data and identify areas of opportunity to reduce drop-off, improve customer experience and grow the business.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Why We Want to Hire You

  • You understand business customers and their needs are different from consumers but can easily switch hats to focus on the needs of each demographic separately.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and love to collaborate across departments.
  • You get the customer and the business and how designing features and products to meet those needs advances the business.
  • You consistently consider the holistic user experience across all platforms.
  • You have a passion for pets and an understanding of the relationship between pets and pet parents.
