Job Description

**The team for this role is located in Seattle, but people can work remote from one of our hub locations in Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, and Atlanta.**

 

The Product Manager Sr 2, Inventory Accuracy, is a key member of the Nordstrom Product Management team, supporting the enterprise vision and strategy to improve our inventory accuracy across the network. Product Management is responsible for making sure we build the right products and features for our customers and business. To accomplish that, product managers plan the product roadmap and prioritize the applicable technology backlog, lead product discovery, and measure and communicate results of the feature portfolio in production, all while ensuring stakeholder alignment.

 

A day in the life…

 

Solid practitioner of the following competencies, requiring some day to day management support:

  • Informs vision and strategy to continually enhance the ability to manage inventory across all Nordstrom e-commerce and non- e-commerce channels
  • Builds and manages an innovative, world-class roadmap of features and services to drive improvements to the Inventory Accuracy program
  • Maintains a strong understanding of available technologies and apply technology solutions, where appropriate, to improve efficiency and ultimately benefit the business
  • Partners with supply chain, merchandising, and selling product managers to identify opportunities to improve end to end inventory accuracy to enhance sales, customer experience and regular price sell-through.
  • Stay current on industry practices, trends, research and issues, assessing and communicating their potential impact on the business
  • Develop a strong collaborative working partnership with technology development team, other product managers, and technology managers to manage dependencies on cross-team projects
  • Define, measure and monitor KPI’s and gather data needed to support priorities and decisions

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6+ years’ experience in Technology/Retail with an emphasis on business analytics preferred.
  • Bachelors’ degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred.
  • Ability to define, measure and analyze processes to identify improvement opportunities
  • Knowledge of retail industry and fashion retailing a plus
  • Technical background and understanding of software development principles preferred
  • Ability to build relationships cross-functionally with multiple teams
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with strong customer focus, follow-through and solution orientation
