Product Manager | Platform OperationsSweetgreen is looking for a growth-minded Product Manager to drive our platform solutions. This role will focus on building the capability of creating, representing, and configuring the data that manages any space or channel through which sweetgreen produces or sells its products. We are looking for someone equally effective working with development teams and vendor partners, who has a passion for and understanding of data management, object-oriented programming, and business systems. We will rely on you to think strategically to craft a long-term roadmap as well as dive into current state processes to build workflows and drive efficiency. As product manager focused on platform operations, you will have the opportunity to build the foundation that enables sweetgreen to manage operations across different restaurant formats and digital experiences as we scale rapidly.Your Impact 

  • Design and implement advancements to how sweetgreen generates value from platform solutions, with an eye to enabling business teams, simplifying work in our restaurants, and supporting new store formats and fulfillment channels. 
  • Map processes, identify pain points, and translate business needs into the ideal solution - whether that solution is custom built or configured in a low- or no-code platform.
  • Identify, design, test, implement, and measure impact of new features or process changes.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including evaluation and selection of new partners.
  • Identify “build” opportunities to amplify the value provided by our vendor solutions.
  • Create clear requirements in the form of user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in agile development ceremonies and processes.
  • Quantify value, demonstrate ROI, and prioritize work to deliver maximum value to the business.
  • Drive governance and sustainable processes around our tech solutions.
  • Scan the market for trends and opportunities to up-level our tooling.
  • Maintain a backlog of tech-driven improvements to our business operations, to be prioritized in collaboration with a rotating mix of corporate and technology teams.
  • Develop deep partnerships and trust across teams.
  • Write, write, write. User writing to bring clarity to thinking, drive decision making, and reduce misunderstandings. 

Your Accomplishments 

  • 3+ years of experience in product management, including both custom development and enterprise system implementation
  • Experience breaking down processes and problems to create clear requirements 
  • Experience designing, maintaining, and executing a roadmap - complete with tradeoffs, dependencies and stakeholder management
  • Strong communicator with proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and build trust
  • Demonstrates ownership, collaboration, and results across business, technical, and partner teams
  • Experience evaluating the impact of long term projects - did we hit the mark?
  • Familiarity with low- or no-code vendor platforms, such as Salesforce or Microsoft PowerApps
