About the Job.

We're looking for an experienced technical product leader to join our team. In this position, you will own and manage the Gimbal location product suite, leading product initiatives for our mobile Location Platform and SDK to drive key organizational impact.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Owning Gimbal’s Location Platform product roadmap

  • Collaborating with Engineering, Data Ops, Marketing, Sales, and executives to drive product initiatives through all stages of the product life-cycle, from ideation to market success

  • Leading strategic product planning by synthesizing stakeholder inputs and research into successful product initiatives 

  • Creating product specifications, documents, training, and Sales/Marketing materials

  • Conducting client outreach, industry research, and requirements gathering to fully understand the end-user

  • Communicating product initiatives and status across the organization

Who you are:

  • A mobile SDK expert — you have direct experience in mobile SDK development and can speak to it in both technical and non-technical settings

  • A savvy communicator — you have a demonstrated ability to influence internal teams and clients directly

  • A product champion — you have a history of success as a key player in product development, as both an engineer and product manager

  • A consistent deliverer — you are able to effectively manage multiple initiatives, stakeholders, and distributed teams, acting tactically to achieve strategic goals

What you have:

  • 3+ years of experience creating and launching successful and scalable product, preferably within SaaS/B2B and/or adtech

  • 2+ years of direct mobile SDK product development as a software engineer or related role, with experience using Objective-C, Java, and React Native

  • Experience with client-facing interactions as the voice of the product

  • Proven track record of prioritizing technical initiatives and guiding Engineering focus

  • Experience overseeing people and projects in a leadership role

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical discipline 

  • Experience developing location tech or beacon tech a plus
