We are seeking a Product Manager, Finance + Operations to support platforms and tools within our HQ environment. This role will partner with business stakeholders and development teams to deliver value and features that enables sweetgreen to achieve business goals & drive our internal organization forward.


Key Areas of Ownership Include:

  • Serve as product/platform solution owner to internal, people-focused teams. Select, implement, and optimize the use of platforms in the ERP, Financial Planning, and Data/Analytics space
  • Owning roadmap for finance-focused product backlog - including planning, prioritization, trade-offs, stakeholder communication, and delivery
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into workable backlog items
  • Lead vendor evaluation, selection, integration, and ongoing management for current and future people-focused systems
  • Writing, maintaining, and designing technical and product documentation for internal use
  • Problem solving across various technology systems & business processes to propose ideas, scope features, and implement solutions

Long-Term Focus:

  • Strategic vision and the ability to see where the organization is headed, define opportunities, and iterate products/features with current and to be selected solutions;
  • Align with current internal teams/processes and support ongoing improvements to make them more efficient. Ensure project teams have a proactive approach to delivery against commitments.
  • Continually seek opportunities for driving greater impact through our systems/tools. Prioritize product and feature enhancements to align with overall enterprise product roadmap

Your Background:

  • 7-10 years in corporate strategy & planning, product management, management consulting, investment banking for the technology sector
  • Comprehensive understanding the workflows within a Finance and Operations environment - e.g. planning, AR/AP, procurement, supply chain, order to cash, accounting close processes, etc.
  • Operating experience in product managing in SaaS products and/or ERP product is highly desired
  • Experience in bringing recommendations to development teams and executives supported by data-driven analysis
  • Demonstrated experience translating product features and experiences into platform capabilities and requirements within agile, fast-moving environment
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to share insights in a way that is easy to grasp and actionable. Experience conveying key insights from complex analysis in summarized business terms.
  • Broad exposure to SaaS and ERP cloud market landscape, including competitive intelligence, venture and strategic partnerships
  • Management of product and vendor teams through the development/configuration lifecycle
  • Demonstrated success being a strategic partner to internal-facing teams; understanding of finance and operations technology processes and best practices

    • A healthy obsession with digital tools + technology that lead to new and useful ways for solving problems 
    • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to consider multiple audiences, bring people along the change curve, and articulate rationale for change throughout the organization
    • A proactive, high energy attitude geared towards achieving continuous improvement.
    • A laser focus on getting things done, and an inspiring level of patience as you work through ambiguity. Ability to creatively solve hard problems in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
