Job Description
Do you enjoy developing the technology and toolsets bringing film production into the next generation? The primary role of the Product Manager, Production Technology, will be to drive the development and execution of NBCU's film production's advanced technology product. You will leverage the next generation of cloud-based solutions for film production pipelines such as visual effects asset management, virtual film production, cloud rendering, among others. You will collaborate closely with various technology teams in execution of key initiatives, the program management team and with film production executive leadership. This role will analyze, recommend, develop proof of concept solutions ensuring business needs to build the future of film production at NBCU.

  • Engage with clients and business across the studio and around the planet on a broad range of activities, including elicitation and scoping, requirements analysis.
  • Document workflows, system functionality requirements and other end user needs.
  • Perform systems analysis and transform business requirements into recommended technological solutions.
  • Partner with development and engineering teams to deliver timely and effective solutions to the business.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • 5 or more years of relevant Information Technology industry experience including business analysis, system analysis and Software Development Lifecycle management.
  • 5 or more years of experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • 3 or more years of experience in relational databases, such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL. Ability to write well-formed SQL queries
  • 3 or more years running Agile software development projects. Subject matter expert on software devilment lifecycle with a demonstrated history of driving software projects from inception to completion.
  • 3 or more years of experience managing software projects in Jira, MS Project, Monday.com, or equivalent tool.
  • 3 or more years of experience building, maintaining, and prioritizing technology product roadmaps.
  • 3 or more years of experience developing/launching products/technologies within Amazon AWS, Azure, or Google GCP Cloud Infrastructure.
  • 2 or more years of experience defining and prioritizing product features.
  • Ability to translate technical requirements for business and client needs.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 or more years of experience in US Media & Entertainment environment preferred, specifically with Finance, Accounting, Sales, or Legal functions
  • 1 or more year of experience with physical film production
  • 1 or more year experience with custom and vendor managed solutions
  • API testing using Postman or equivalent
