We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the direction of our core product by working with our clients and internal stakeholders to drive the product roadmap. The Product Manager will oversee upcoming initiatives to improve how clients use the core product to manage and track construction projects. The candidate should have a background in both product management and knowledge or direct experience with construction projects or industry. This position reports to the Manager of Product Management.
What You'll Do:

  • Own the roadmap for key Aspire products; scope and prioritize development based on business and customer impact
  • Gain a deep understanding of the customer (including customer segments and user personas), conduct frequent user testing with UI/UX team on lightweight prototypes
  • Understand the construction industry and the challenges that construction professionals face. This includes understanding the different types of construction projects, the different roles involved in construction, and the challenges each role faces
  • Identify and prioritize the needs of construction professionals. This includes understanding the pain points construction professionals experience and the features and functionality that would make their jobs easier
  • Utilize various methods to gather constant feedback from clients, service teams, sales & marketing
  • Work with product leadership to shape market strategy, and ensure that product development furthers strategic goals
  • Influence product pricing and positioning strategies
  • Work closely with engineering teams and product owners to ensure accurate forecasting and efficient allocation of resources
  • Coordinate product launches, including working with sales and marketing on messaging for content, collateral, and demos, and with customer success for education, training and roll-out


What You'll Need:

  • Previous experience in Business to Business (B2B) product management, business strategy/analytics (e.g. consulting), technical development, or analytics-heavy customer success
  • Knowledge or direct experience with construction projects or industry
  • Strong problem-solving skills, at both strategic and tactical levels
  • Comfort with uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity
  • Passionate about delivering excellent product experiences
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong ability with tools including: basic data tools (e.g. excel), rough wireframing tools (e.g. Balsamiq), project/product management tools (e.g. aha!, Jira)
  • Experience with or willingness to learn tools, like: Jira, Confluence, product analytics tools (e.g. GoogleAnalytics, Pendo), higher-fidelity prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Invision, Marvel)
  • Ability to present solutions to stakeholders and influence outcomes
  • BS in computer science, engineering, marketing or relevant prior work experience


Where You'll Work:
Our headquarters is located in Chesterfield in St. Louis County; however, some local positions will be remote until the time is right to return to the office while other roles are more office-based. Fully remote employees will stay remote.
