SUMMARY

Hulu’s Product Management team is seeking a Product Manager who will be an exceptional addition to our advertising experiences team. As a Product Manager at Hulu, you will be responsible for helping to build the strategy, define requirements and drive execution for the Ad Platforms group to support our Advertising business, across both internal and external stakeholders. The right person for this role can solve complex problems, communicate solutions concisely, articulate clear vision to technical and non-technical groups and passionately drives results. If you are someone who can drive strategy, properly define requirements between multiple creative, advertising and technology groups, brings a passion for building and possesses a strong background in creative and product development, then this is a great role for you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop, manage and execute on a product vision, strategy and plan for the Advertising business across all devices/platforms (web, mobile, and living room), working with various stakeholder groups across product, technology, finance, sales and legal groups
  • Own the product vision, strategy and execution of our creative ad product development efforts while partnering with cross-functional teams to build brand new bespoke advertising experiences to redefine digital advertising
  • Own the product efforts around the prioritization, definition and roadmap of our ad formats, customer interactive experiences and custom sponsorship integrations
  • Partner with our user experience and creative teams to build entirely new products, sponsorship packages and interactive models for Hulu
  • Own the product backlog for our custom formats and sponsorship experiences across web, mobile and living room connected devices
  • Build new, custom interactive advertising products that are proprietary for Hulu and drive results
  • Manage and design custom brand integration templates to ensure repeatable and scaleable solutions
  • Partner with our user research group to create a pipeline of testable work, allowing us to ensure the customer’s voice is always represented in our thinking and design
  • Partner with our sales teams to own the definition, structure and deployment of new advertising formats that meet market and advertiser needs
  • Partner with our research teams to ensure the right metrics are being tracked to drive tangible outcomes for our brands and advertisers
  • Partner with our integrated marketing team to create new, proprietary custom brand integrations and sponsorships across all Hulu platforms, as well as, ensure go-to-market strategy is comprehensively coordinated
  • Partner with our viewer experience group to ensure the user’s voice and concerns is represented, creating feedback proprietary feedback loops that keep us closely connected with user pain points
  • Own the product design, definition, strategy and execution of new formats and partner with our engineering groups – both platform and client teams – to prototype and bring the products to life
  • Steward the strategy and execution of custom advertising formats within Hulu
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers, engineering teams and business stakeholders to ensure coordination and completion of various responsible products  
  • Work closely with legal teams and company leaders to ensure industry and privacy-compliant use of data

WHAT TO BRING

  • Computer Science, business degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience and success in a product or digital production role with the ability to demonstrate a proven record of success in building new products for the market
  • 3+ years of Product Management experience, highly preferred from established technology or digital media company
  • 2+ years of digital experience, preferably working in video ad technology and closely aligned to sales organizations Strong experience in the advertising domain, with subject matter knowledge of how sales organizations operate and function in media organizations
  • Highly driven and focused personality who enjoys moving quickly and getting things done
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage and grow a product team that will get the best out of each member

NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Experience at a top Digital or TV advertising measurement company and/or understanding of the ad measurement industry
  • Passion for television, Streaming Video On Demand (SVOD), or Over the Top (OTT) industry
  • Creative or design background
  • Ability to create functional prototypes to lead ideation process
  • Experience running design sprints with internal teams
