  • Job Description

    We are looking for a Product Manager 2 to champion the evolution of the Nordstrom Rack customer experience both on web and mobile apps. Based in LA, this role will be responsible for making sure we build the right products and features for our customers and business. To accomplish that, product managers lead product discovery using a variety of qualitative and quantitative inputs, plan the roadmap, prioritize the applicable technology backlog and measure and communicate results across stakeholders. This role will have a specific focus on growth, coming up with technical capabilities that will drive customer adoption digitally.

     

    A day in the life…

    Solid practitioner of the following competencies, requiring some day to day management support: 

    • Clearly define the goal and impact of product initiatives by setting specific, measurable, and actionable targets
    • Prioritize feature opportunities. Develop annual backlog and cohesive roadmap that is aligned with the broader team’s objectives. Evaluate competitor experiences
    • Lead the consolidation and communication of product requirements by effectively interacting with UX, Engineering and other related teams.
    • Utilize research and usability sessions to validate feature design
    • Work with engineering during feature development to ensure feature objectives are maintained
    • Oversee and understand the different stages of the development cycle
    • Oversee the performance of existing product portfolio. Define, evolve and monitor KPIs and conduct root cause analysis on KPI Performance
    • Develop a/b testing plan with analytics where appropriate

     

    You own this if you have…

    • Minimum 3+ years’ experience of product management experience with technology or ecommerce company preferred.
    • Bachelors’ degree in math, statistics, finance, economics, or related quantitative discipline is preferred.
    • Strong Business Acumen: Ability to think strategically, identify the biggest pockets of value and aligned them to company-wide initiatives.
    • Ability to define, measure and analyze processes to identify improvement opportunities.
    • Technical background and understanding of software development principals.
    • Knowledge of a/b testing fundamentals.
    • Ability to build relationships cross-functionally with multiple teams from areas such as Analytics, Engineering and User Experience.
    • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
