At SimplePractice, our team is dedicated to improving the health and wellness industry by building a suite of innovative solutions for practitioners and their clients. Our product supports practitioners on their clinical journey to becoming licensed, helps them manage their business and practice once they’re up and running, and enables new clients to discover and interact with practitioners. Taking a practitioner-first approach in everything we do makes it possible for health and wellness practitioners to devote more time to their clients while they use SimplePractice to start, grow, and maintain a successful private practice.
The Role
SimplePractice is seeking a Product Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. We are looking for someone who sees the world differently and can create innovative and trustworthy technology for our customers and their clients. You will have direct interaction with all levels of the company, including members of our executive team.
Responsibilities
- Work with senior product designers to create cohesive and effective user experiences across all platforms
- Conduct user research and interviews to have insight-driven decision making (from data and user behavior)
- Define our users through detailed, ongoing research and analysis
- Incorporate user insights and best practices into a larger strategic vision
- Design experiences across responsive web and mobile
- Work with the design team to contribute to our internal Design System
- Find and deliver elegant and innovative design solutions
- Collaborate with your squad to discuss ideas and decide on execution
Desired Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of design experience in a product or design-focused tech company
- Proficient in design software such as Figma, Creative Suite, Sketch, Invision, etc.
- Strong foundation in UI design, visual design and attention to detail
- Ability to rapidly iterate and produce multiple design concepts
- Capable of UX and deep product thinking
- Ability to solve complex problems with simple solutions
- Knowledge of how to work with a Design System
- Proficiency designing for multiple media, devices, and platforms
- A portfolio demonstrating creative problem solving, innovative solutions and clean visual aesthetic
- Self-motivated attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous work environment skills to collaborate with PMs and engineers
