Fuel Cycle is seeking a Product Designer to join our growing Product team. As a Product Designer at Fuel Cycle, you’re responsible for creating incredible experiences that empower users, help them fulfill objectives quickly, and place Fuel Cycle at the center of their workflow. Responsibilities

  • Endless curiosity about people, technology, design, and life 
  • Produce clear, user-centric design across mobile, desktop, web, and hardware endpoints 
  • Conduct usability research and testing plans 
  • Ability to create style guides, design systems, and design libraries to help developers to move faster in development and creating interfaces 
  • Run usability studies with clients, coordinating with product management to incorporate customer feedback into product roadmaps and make data-driven decisions 
  • Define metrics for measuring the success of design and ability to make decisions based on those metrics 
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, and prototypes to test and improve product experiences 
  • Recognize, define, and create plans to support multiple user personas 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a previous product design, user experience, or interaction designer 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, including computer science, design, graphic design, or similar 
  • Strong problem-solving skills 
  • Demonstrated skills creating process flows, sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes, and other UX deliverables 
  • Have a portfolio of previous products in production you can share 
  • Phenomenal communication skills, and the ability to work across functions to persuade team members of customer needs 
  • Mastery of design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, etc. 
  • Contribute to all aspects of design, including requirement defining, user research, workflow diagramming, and engineering support 
  • Partner closely with developers, QA, and product managers to rapidly iterate on designs based on user feedback, tech constraints, and market dynamics
