Overview of the Job
The Arcules product management team is the champion of the customer. They are members of agile teams of engineers and UX designers who define and build cutting edge products. They are data-driven leaders within the organization contributing to our innovation and customer growth.
You will report to the VP of Product as the Principal Product Manager and will be responsible for the most technical tracks in the product roadmap including integrations, APIs, back office, tooling, access control and user/group management. This role can be remote (west coast time zone only) or located at our Irvine, CA headquarters.

Details
- Be accountable for identifying market needs and deeply understanding the needs of our prospects and customers.
- Be the voice of the customer on cross-functional teams.
- Own key tracks in the Arcules product roadmap
- Write product requirements documents (PRDs) and user stories and prioritize them collaboratively with your team.
- Consistently groom your backlog so you can respond quickly to the needs of customers and partners.
- Work with key stakeholders to craft user value propositions, define solutions, and drive operational improvements.
- Assist with the creation of training, sales support, demos and marketing communication material for major product releases.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of Technical Enterprise Product Management experience
- SaaS and platform experience
- Experience working in a high velocity, CI/CD, software development environment
- Engineering or technical PM background with complex systems
- A strong understanding of agile software development processes like Kanban or Scrum
- Four year bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Desired Skills
- VSaaS (video surveillance as a service) or video management software (VMS) experience
- Understanding of IT networking, network security and compliance
- A BS or higher in Computer Sciences or an Engineering related field
