Job Requirements:
Responsibilities:
• Oversight of the day-to-day product development and approval process
• Work with Artist management to develop and gain approval for product and marketing materials
• Help licensees achieve the best possible standards for artists product
• Help inspire licensees to set the benchmark in creative design and product development using the most up to date assets
• Ensure that licensees actively exploit the artists assets provided in the brand guides
• Review product for compliance with Copyright and Trademark laws
• Conduct creative induction for all new licensees
• Communicate with licensee's product development and creative teams on a regular basis
• Ensure approvals correspondence, brand guides and imagery are logically stored and accessible on the server
• Proactively seek to improve process wherever possible
• In partnership with the EVP, develop and execute compelling and on trend brand guides for our artists including the creation of brand guidelines for each brand/artist
• Communicate to the team where there may be additional requirements to meet licensee demands and capitalize on new opportunities
• Understand the trends, competitive landscape and the retail market place and update team members where necessary
• Work closely with the licensing teams to ensure needs, challenges and potential opportunities are aligned and met
• Ensure that you understand what designs work well commercially and what do not and take steps to integrate these learnings into future development
• Management and oversight of contractual samples
• Review trade marketing, advertisements, print materials or other collateral submitted by licensees
• Create and design brand presentations for clients, retailers, brand partnerships, and collaboration opportunities
• Facilitate all social media requests/needs for licensees through artist social channels
Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Experience across hardline and Softline categories
• Ability to identify and solve design/concept problems
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office Suite including Power Point
• Graphic design experience desirable
• General knowledge of manufacturing process by product category
• Ability to work as part of a team
Experience:
• 3-5 years' experience, ideally in product development, creative and merchandising areas of the entertainment licensing business
Education
• Bachelor's Degree preferred (but not required)
