Fandango is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lead Technical Product Manager to join our Fandango Commerce team.  Our Commerce team manages the checkout experience across multiple platforms for Fandango’s suite of e-commerce sites.  As Lead Technical Product Manager, you will define and deliver innovative systems and services, collaborate with various stakeholders, both business and technical, and define product requirements to build and maintain a best in class commerce experience for the Fandango audience.   • Responsible for product management activities across several products
  • Defines and develops new products and is subject matter expert on suite of existing products
  • Define epics and user stories for multiple commerce systems and services, prioritizing backlog according to documented product strategy and business goals
  • Write detailed and thorough technical requirements for developers and QA to build world class services
  • Review and analyze 3rd party APIs and data contracts
  • Clearly articulate point of view on complex technical topics related to platform and technology in area of product responsibility. Align both technical and non-technical stakeholders on this common vision.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, PMO, Quality Assurance, Business Intelligence, Finance/Accounting, Exhibitor Relations, Customer Service, Fraud, Ad Sales, Business Development and Product leads to unite towards a common goal
  • Interacts frequently with external vendors and partners and ensures the buildout, delivery and maintenance of complex products and services
  • Guide projects through launch and post-launch with hyper-care
  • Justifies expenditures for products
  • Identify customer needs, tech trends and market opportunities via quantitative and qualitative data and deliver actionable solutions
  • Define KPIs and analyze metrics to inform the success of products



● Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent practical experience
● 5+ years of progressively complex Product experience, preferably in a technical product role
● 2+ years successfully performing as a Senior Product Manager
● Professional experience as a software engineer working in a back-end or full-stack capacity is a strong plus
● A strong understanding and passion for systems and services in digital commerce
● Ability to conceptualize products, manage and optimize them throughout their lifecycle
● Excellent personal, verbal and written communication skills
● Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership
● The ability to work well in a team environment and maintain a positive and professional tone across departments, SCRUM and JIRA experience a plus
● Anticipate and prevent roadblocks before they occur
● Expertise in juggling multiple tasks, re-prioritizing where needed
● Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to evolve the product based on research data and industry trends
● Attention to detail is essential
● Willingness to take ownership and drive initiatives to completion
● Experience mentoring less experienced members of the team
● An understanding of current software design patterns and principles
● Strong working knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and service dependency management
● Familiar with software build, release, deployment and monitoring tools and practices
● Familiarity with test driven and behavioral driven development practices
● Familiar with distributed systems design and architecture
● Familiar with stream processing and event driven architectures
● General familiarity with common networking, infrastructure, and security fundamentals
• Experience with payment processing, credit cards and alternative payment methods such as Apple Pay, PayPal, Google Pay and more
• Passion for entertainment a plus
