FabFitFun is looking for a Senior Merchandise Planner to join our team at our HQ in West Hollywood! Reporting to the Sr. Planner, this role will be responsible for inventory planning specifically for the Beauty categories in our seasonal and flash sales. Ideal candidates will have proven success within a merchandising/buying role specializing in off-price in order to support future eCommerce performance. 

What You’ll Do:

• Manage open to buy through tops down and bottoms up forecasting for future seasons across the Beauty category
• Analyze historical data and performance metrics at category and brand level to build a bottoms up plan that aligns with growth plans across Merchandising department
• Oversee and optimize inventory levels including liquidation strategies on a monthly, seasonal, and annual basis
• Spearhead replenishment ladder plans
• Partner with Finance, buying teams, and project managers to align on company strategies and develop processes to execute them 
• Evaluate sales performance and give key insights to cross functional teams 
• Execute Top Brand Plans in order to support sustained YOY growth in productivity and margin 
• Utilize hindsight analysis to develop innovative strategies for revenue and profitability growth 
• Support team projects and new merchandising initiatives as needed
• Share and work as a collaborative team player in a fast paced environment 

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years experience in Merchandise Planning and/or Buying (Subscription or Off Price model preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, Analytics or a related field
• At least 1-2 years effectively managing a planning team
• Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results
• Comprehension in and capable to train retail math
• Understanding of rigorous logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions
• Can think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from data
• Effective in a variety of presentation settings including one-on-one, small and large groups
• Strength in fostering highly effective and collaborative cross-functional relationships
• Demonstrate a growth mindset to successfully meet and exceed set goals and objectives 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Advanced Excel), Google Docs and have aptitude to learn technical applications quickly
• Strategic ability and desire to apply knowledge and skillset to evaluate challenges and quickly create processes and systems to streamline work, analysis, and problem solve
