TITLE: Director, Technical Product Management
REPORTS TO: VP, Product Management
TigerConnect’s product management team is looking for a talented and experienced technical product leader who is passionate about user experience and solving customer challenges. This product leader will define and own technical and platform initiatives for TigerConnect, such as new API, integration, security, and platform services. TigerConnect is the leader in messaging and communications in healthcare, we’re seeking a savvy and innovative product leader to help deliver exciting new features and experiences in the space.
As the Director, Technical Product Management, you will work closely with and lead our Technical Product Managers and partner with our team of talented software engineers, UX/UI designers, data engineers and solutions engineers to deliver new features and product enhancements. This is a player/coach position in which you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership and play a critical role in our company’s growth.

What You’ll Own:
- Establish the strategy and prioritization of our technical products and solutions based on various sources: corporate strategy, customer feedback, market insight, engineer’s suggestions, sales’ recommendations, etc.
- Define, plan, and manage roadmap features and enhancements
- Articulate and evangelize product strategy cross-functionally.
- Manage and own the growth and development of Technical Product Managers
- Develop a deep understanding of our customers’ & prospects’ pain points and deliver solutions that drive growth and customer retention.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for platform features, spanning across APIs, integrations, security, and platform capabilities.
- Serve as a point of contact for external development and integration partners.
- Develop specifications, ticket-writing, product acceptance, roadmap-prioritizing, and all other day to day tasks that push development forward and keep projects on track.
- Partner and plan with engineering teams to bring your product to life, leveraging agile development methodologies.
- Identify areas of improvement and implement best practices.
- Triage and prioritize bugs to provide direction for engineering and QA teams.
- Analyze product quality and engagement performance with internal instruments and tools.
What you Bring to the Table:
- Experience developing medium to long term strategies for product lines.
- Ability to take from high level strategy and establish direction for successful execution.
- Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, analyze tradeoffs and evaluate solutions with stakeholders.
- Experience building, leading and mentoring high functioning Product Managers.
- Proven success of delivery within an agile software development environment.
- Have an entrepreneurial, inquisitive and empathetic spirit.
- Demonstrable data-driven decision making and analytical thinking.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle challenges based on research, data and industry trends.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams for your projects.
- Proficient communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
- Solid sense and belief of user-centered design and intuitive UX.
What You’ve Accomplished:
- Bachelor’s degree, MS or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant work experience as a product leader; consultant; or software development in healthcare.
- Experience leading initiatives covering some of the following: clinical integrations, nurse call systems, alert & alarms, VoIP/PBX, scheduling platforms, PAAS, micro services platform
- Experienced with enterprise or B2B products.
