Director of Product Management
ServiceTitan is looking for a Director of Product Management for our Commercial Service & Replacement (Commercial S/R) business. Our Commercial S/R business serves contractors that service commercial properties and is one of the fastest growing parts of ServiceTitan. The Director of Product Management - Commercial S/R is an integral, highly-visible role contributing to the overall success of ServiceTitan's growth strategy.
The Director should have a track record for driving new product lines from concept to successful launch, finding product-market fit and scaling the business. The Director will own the product vision, strategy, roadmap and execution for our Commercial S/R business. The portfolio of products and features span all the workflows of our Commercial S/R customers including Service Agreement management, Job Scheduling & Management, Inventory, Payroll, Accounting, etc, and will require close collaboration with those product teams. This role requires strong and proactive leadership of a team and the ability to drive large product initiatives. The Director PM will champion best product development practices to deliver phenomenal outcomes and delightful experiences to our customers. This individual will support senior leaders in the market expansion space. The individual has a well-rounded background -- including analytic rigor and strategic thinking -- drawing key elements from roles such as product management, management consulting, corporate strategy/development, and business operations.
Responsibilities:

  • Own the vision and 1-3-5 year strategy for all our products for our commercial service contractors. Define the customer outcomes we need to deliver, have a deep understanding of our customers' needs, conduct continuous research of our competition and develop the strategy to 10x the business. Make that vision a reality by getting buy-in from key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Establish and maintain a global framework of key dimensions/criteria used to evaluate and prioritize build of new products and services -- dimensions such as TAM, subsegment sizing, customer demand, business case, product fit, competition, strategic value, etc.
  • Be the owner of the roadmap and drive quarterly roadmap planning while properly assessing impact and holding other teams accountable to committed outcomes. Manage backlog of features and enhancements for clients and communicate timing and status to internal teams and customers.
  • Primary liaison between the product team and internal teams to identify product gaps, offer creative workarounds/solutions, develop requirements, and communicate roadmap.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices on the craft of being a Product Manager across the teams working on commercial features - artifacts such as vision, strategy, roadmap, rich discovery, detailed product requirement documents, solutioning for delightful experiences, GTM plans, KPI dashboards, etc.
  • Work closely with our designers, engineers, QA, product marketing and success teams to perform UX research, design exploration, usability testing, build POCs, launch and manage commercially available products.
  • Demo new features to prospects and customers, organize internal and external feedback and manage beta releases. Effectively assess customer escalations, impact to roadmap and allocate resources accordingly for resolution.
  • Own the business performance and customer outcomes dashboards. Use data to make prioritization decisions. Collaborate closely with our sales team to make sure that we hit our numbers.
  • Manage, mentor and motivate your team of eager product managers.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience in a product management role with at least 3+ years experience leading high performing teams.
  • Prior experience in taking digital products from concept to successful launch and finding product-market fit.
  • Experience in B2B technology market environments with exposure to Software or SaaS businesses
  • Ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans
  • Strong analytical abilities and prior experience with building business cases, data analysis, and problem solving.
  • Comfort with ambiguity in a dynamic working environment; know how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast and managing by influence.
  • Demonstrated excellence in cross-functional communication, with the ability to simplify and explain complex problems to stakeholders of all levels.
  • Self-starter that thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with the demonstrated capacity to lead, motivate and work well with others.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Intelligent, quick thinking, and fast learning team player
