About the Director of Product, Headspace Health at Headspace:

Headspace exists to improve the health and happiness of the world, and we are expanding our capabilities to deliver on that mission. We are in search of a product leader to grow a new mental health initiative within a leading digital wellness organization to better meet the needs of our members and partners. The ideal candidate has extensive experience leading product development teams with a history of turning concepts into revenue-generating business lines with outsized impact. Additionally, we’re looking for candidates with direct experience in digital health and are used to taking an entrepreneurial and strategic approach to creating products that deliver significant member value.

The Director of Product Management will join a cross-functional team reporting to the VP of Consumer Product. This individual will be a key member of the leadership team responsible for building our new mental health products and services for our business-to-business (B2B) customers.

Location: This role is open to remote employees in select US states: California, New York, Florida, Georgia, Texas, Maryland + Washington DC, North Carolina and Washington. 

How your skills and passion will come to life at Headspace:

  • Define the product vision and roadmap for our mental health initiatives to serve the needs of our members and enterprise partners
  • Understand the competitive landscape for mental health and use it to shape Headspace’s product strategy to win in the space
  • Define quarterly objectives and product success metrics
  • Lead cross-functional product development teams to execute and deliver on the roadmap to bring value to our members and customers
  • Develop business cases in support of innovation and product development initiatives
  • Serve as a product evangelist and inspirational cross-functional leader for the company to help communicate and drive the vision, roadmap and best practices in Product for Headspace

 

What you’ve accomplished:

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management with a focus on building world-class digital products. Previous experience in healthcare is required
  • Customer-obsessed with experience working with human-centered design processes to transform human needs into innovative solutions
  • Experience leading products from 0 to 1 and from 1 to n
  • Strong user experience design sensibility, with a record of shipping delightful products
  • Excellent organizational skills, analytic capabilities, and attention to detail
  • In tune with emerging health technology and consumer trends, with a knack for seeing around corners
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with an ability to effectively present to the senior leadership team and other key stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to create an environment that fosters data-driven experimentation at high velocity
  • Impact-oriented leader with a bias for action and a passion for doing the impossible

We're located in the heart of Santa Monica on Michigan + Cloverfield, just off the 10 freeway. Bergamont train station is right behind our office.
