System1 seeks a motivated, resourceful, creative and results-driven Contract Senior Product Designer with at least 5 years of experience in visual design and UI for consumer facing websites.

This is a contract to hire role.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with product management, UX, and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
• Transform UX requirements into pixel-perfect beautiful UI to enhance user experiences
• Ensure design consistency - refine the style guide, or visual language, to be used across the board while promoting design guidelines, best practices and standards
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
• Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverable to peers and stakeholders

What You Will Bring

• 5+ years of experience in visual product UI design
• Proven visual design and UI experience with mobile first responsive design
• Demonstrable design skills with a strong portfolio
• Proficiency in Sketch, invision, and other visual design and versioning tools
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders, leading design vision for the product
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest visual design, UI trends, techniques, and technologies
• Experience developing design systems, unique icons, style guides, and components is a must
• Ability to operate comfortably at scale and complexity
• Develop and grow the product’s visual identity and art direction
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process a plus
