As our Product Manager – Marketing / Customer Acquisition, you will be responsible for liaising between the marketing and engineering teams and leading efforts to continually optimize our conversion funnel. Your responsibilities will include competitive analysis of our competitors’ user acquisition experiences, working with the marketing team to develop and implement continual A/B testing of our marketing campaigns and conversion funnels, and writing specifications for our engineering teams to develop new pages and flows to assist with optimizing our funnel. Success will be defined by growing our customer base through conversion rate optimization resulting in higher conversions, lower user acquisition costs and ultimately increasing our customers’ lifetime value and our margin per customer.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Research, identify, and evaluate our user flows and acquisition experiences vs. competition
  • Work closely with Marketing to design, manage, and analyze A/B tests of user acquisition experiences, including landing pages, search results pages, and payment pages as well as pricing and promotions
  • Create detailed specifications for design and engineering to develop the new acquisition flows including new pages and customer experiences and socialize ideas with relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Analytics, Product, Design and Engineering to prioritize projects, get things done and accomplish objectives
  • Gather and continually evaluate customer insights through surveys, behavioral data, and Customer Care interactions

Experience/Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of product management and/or relevant marketing experience
  • 2+ years of experience with e-commerce or digital subscription businesses
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, or other related fields
  • Analytical and number-driven
  • Expert in Excel spreadsheets
  • Marketing/sales-focused product sense
  • Proficient with CRO techniques and approaches
  • Skilled in competitor analysis, market research, and technical writing
  • Be a great writer and storyteller, effectively able to describe the vision and get buy-in
  • Excellent people skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and other parties
  • Fanatical attention to details
