About Front Row

At Front Row, we accelerate ecommerce growth for leading brands through data-driven strategies. We offer hands-on support and niche expertise, ensuring robust channel strategies across all lifecycle stages. By leveraging insights from global ecommerce marketplaces and media touch-points from search to social, we create tailored solutions that drive results.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly driven and experienced Performance Marketing Manager with a deep understanding of Amazon Search and Display. You will play a key role in shaping strategic approaches for some of our top clients, taking full ownership of campaign design and performance, while also contributing to our broader media consulting offer.

You should be someone who loves diving into the operational side of campaign management but also brings strategic thinking, strong client communication, and a collaborative mindset to the table. If you're eager to contribute to a growing team and ready to challenge the status quo, this is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You take ownership of Amazon media execution and strategy across 5-6 client accounts, including Sponsored Ads, DSP and beyond.
  • You design, plan, steer and optimize campaigns in line with performance goals and client business objectives.
  • You serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing strategic direction, clear insights, and actionable recommendations.
  • You act as a thought leader who expands strategies to include retail media platforms like Walmart, Target, Ulta, or Sephora, creating full-funnel solutions that drive measurable results.
  • You collaborate closely with international teams, especially our European office in Hamburg, to align execution and share best practices.
  • You support the onboarding of new clients, setting clear expectations and building robust advertising set-ups from day one.
  • You continuously improve internal tools, reports, and workflows to elevate campaign quality and scalability.
  • You actively contribute to the development of our consulting and service offerings, keeping an eye on innovation, automation, and market trends.
  • You participate in RFPs and business reviews, showcasing thought leadership and value creation across our client base.

Why Join Us:

  • Be part of a forward-thinking team that values innovation and holistic perspectives.
  • Collaborate with international teams and gain exposure to diverse markets.
  • Drive impactful marketing strategies for leading brands.
  • Work in a dynamic environment that encourages questioning of the status quo and continuous improvement.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • You bring 3–5 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing with a strong focus on Amazon (Advertising Console, Sponsored Ads, ideally (A)DSP or previously AMG).
  • You are a team player and having experience collaborating in an international organization or agency is a big plus.
  • You have a strong grasp of campaign setup, targeting logic, and platform mechanics across the Amazon ecosystem.
  • You possess strong analytical skills and technical understanding – Excel proficiency (including PivotTables) is a must.
  • You have the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and translate them into clear actions and client communication.
  • You are a natural client communicator with a knack for simplifying complex topics.
  • You are comfortable taking initiative and managing your own workload.
  • You have experience with broader ecommerce topics (e.g. Amazon SEO, retail readiness) is a plus.
  • You are curious, adaptable, and eager to keep learning.
  • You possess strong written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a nice-to-have, not a must.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Amazon Media
  • Sponsored Search (and preferably Display)
  • Amazon Marketing Cloud
  • Amazon Account Management
  • Amazon Vendor Experience
  • Client Facing Communication and Management

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
