People Specialist
Overview
The People Specialist mainly support People Business Partner for Taiwan market. This role covers diverse areas within People & Capability such as compensation, mobility, benefits, health & safety, talent management, recruiting, training, learning infrastructure, reporting etc. This role will work closely with People Business Partners, COE's, and the GBSC - P&C to deliver the assigned activities.
Role• Performs day-to-day activities to assist in the implementation of P&C policies and programs, supporting the People Business Partner.• As directed by the People Business Partner, coordinates with GBSC - P&C, COEs on implementing programs and policies in the market.• Executes P&C reporting, data collection, data sharing and preparation based on People Business Partner's requirement.• Answers employee inquiries surrounding benefits, allowances, payroll, and time and attendance.• P&C tasks, projects or activities as assigned by the People Business Partner.
All About You• Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse P&C and to present processes to employees.• Functional knowledge: With basic labor law knowledge for the markets to support.• Operational excellence: Attention to detail; with basic data analytics and reporting skill, follow process; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.• Business acumen: Possesses or demonstrates the ability to quickly acquire specific knowledge of business units supported; develops an end-to-end knowledge of Mastercard's business.• Project Management: Demonstrates ability to independently and successfully lead projects cross-functional teams.
