Payroll Manager
FabFitFun’s employee base is growing as rapidly as our business. Thus, we are seeking a Payroll Manager to work within our Accounting Team to process payroll, manage fund transfers, book all payroll journal entries and support our compensation platform.
Our Payroll Manager will:
- Process bi-weekly payroll for over 200 exempt and non-exempt employees using Namely HRIS
- Prepare and reconcile bi-weekly payroll journal entries, vacation accrual, benefits reports and data feeds, and time and attendance entries
- Organize funds transfers and resolution
- Prepare and send bi-weekly 401k contribution file and other necessary benefits
- Collaborate with the HR Team to ensure accurate and timely flow of employee data
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state wage and hour laws as well as tax filings and proper deductions
- Reconcile payroll and related liabilities accounts
- Research and monitor outstanding payroll and reconciliation issues
- Assist with internal and external compliance audits and documentation as required
Our Payroll Manager will bring:
- 5+ Years successful payroll administration, execution and management experience, preferably in a company with more than 300 to 400 employees
- Understanding of payroll management best practices
- Knowledge of exempt and non-exempt specific payroll and taxation matters
- Ability to develop and maintain consistent payroll and benefits reporting
- Strong accounting systems skills including experience with implementing and managing accounting and payroll systems
- Working knowledge of tax regulations and reporting in states and local jurisdictions primarily in California and New York
