---Technical Support Specialist Responsibilities---

Our rapidly growing software start-up in Silicon Beach is seeking a technician to fill our Tier 1 and 2 Support Engineer role.

You will be responsible for working directly with end users to resolve a variety of technical issues, process returns, and train new clients. You must have two or more years of experience working in a primarily technical role such as helpdesk technician or technical support specialist. You will receive training on our product and have the opportunity to work with and learn from an exceptionally talented team of engineers, but in order to be considered you must have a solid working knowledge of the following topics:

- Troubleshooting commercial off-the-shelf hardware problems
- Troubleshooting application problems on Windows 10
- Web-based control panels and dashboards
- Network addressing and subnetting
- WiFi troubleshooting
- Firewalls
- Android or Linux

This role heavily involves interacting with clients via e-mail, so strong writing skills are very important.
Phone demeanor is extremely important as well. You will be conducting training sessions via phone and screen share. Previous experience training groups and working with executives or high-value clients is a plus.
