Job objective: The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has experience planning, organizing, and executing a comprehensive supply chain strategy. They have a proven ability to manage and lead change within an organization. In this exciting and layered role, the ideal candidate will actively seek to improve all aspects of the supply chain process by streamlining steps and locating the best prices for inventory.

Duties

• Lead for the the development in all aspects of Epirus supply chain in a new product development environment 
• Evaluate and enhance supply chain business processes
• Initiate, evaluate and migrate company onto an effective MRP solution that aligns well with Agile Product development and Lean Manufacturing
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost
• Coordinate supplier statements of work and strategic source and logistics agreements 
• Ensure a professional relationship is maintained with vendors while promoting cost, schedule and quality excellence
• Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to create effective databases to organize, plan procurements and manage inventory
• Manage material cost budgets on various customer programs and internal research projects
• Properly manage company procured capital assets, property and rental equipment

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of supply chain or operations management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in applicable field
• Innovative and creative problem solving methodologies
• Strong knowledge and proven success in Integrated material planning, procurement, supplier management & logistics
• Expertise in leading improvements in supply chain business processes and data analytics
• Hands on experience in MRP migration/onboarding new solution
• Experience in of new product development (specifically using Agile), RF, electronics and metal fabrication a plus
• Demonstrated ability to develop material cost models and execute cost reduction initiatives
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
• Experience in Aerospace and Defense
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance

• Strong knowledge of the industry and market conditions
• Additional supply chain certification desired
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Collaborative; capable of leading small teams and communicating across different levels and departments in the company
