Role Overview
InStride is looking for a Lifecycle Engagement Specialist to coordinate and help implement our lifecycle marketing strategy. The ideal candidate is a process-focused individual who has experience creating lifecycle campaigns, supporting email standard processes, and working with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal & external partners to launch and iterate on lifecycle marketing programs from ideation to execution
- Support the creation, QA and launch of campaigns and automated workflows on our cross-channel marketing platform (e.g., Iterable, Braze)
- Collaborate with the Learner Engagement, Product, Corporate Partner Success and Academic Partner Success teams to support development of solutions for growing learner engagement, onboarding new corporate/academic partners and launching new education programs
- Assist with the development and launches of newsletters and ad hoc campaigns
- Implement testing strategies that continually optimize and improve new and existing communications
- Support day-to-day management of email campaigns including email updates, new content, monitoring, and reporting.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelors in Business, Communications, or Marketing, or 5+ years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of digital marketing experience, including lifecycle marketing
- 1+ years working with HTML for email
- 1+ years working on an enterprise-level cross-channel marketing platform like Iterable, Braze, Campaign Monitor, or equivalent
- Understanding of email delivery issues within various platforms
- Knowledge of email and SMS standard processes
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email and is comfortable making moderate adjustments to email templates
- Strong writing skills, including adapting voice and tone
- Has experience working with segmentation and database concepts
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to report and analyze data as needed
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, Agile/SCRUM environment
- Process and detail orientation, with strong documentation and project management skills
- High EQ, comfort with ambiguity and a “no job too small” startup mentality

Our base compensation amount for this role is targeted at $70,000 - $99,000/yr. All roles include a variable annual bonus amount. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
