As Bank Partner Operations Sr. Manager you will be responsible for analyzing our existing vendor/partner framework and developing a framework inclusive of our existing bank operations products and initiatives. You’ll navigate and guide Dave’s relationships with external partners and identify opportunities to optimize their performance to support our business objectives, product roadmap and member needs. You will work cross-functionally with both external companies and internal teams to identify and deliver solutions that drive growth and enhance the member experience. Focus areas include assessment of key performance indicators, business case creation, negotiations, integration development, and overall account/partner management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Play an integral role in drafting Dave’s strategic banking partner operations strategy by identifying areas to streamline our footprint for scale across current and future product lines
  • Work cross-functionally with our internal stakeholders and project leaders to define priorities and roadmaps for initiatives that require support for existing partners
  • Implement systems to track and measure outcomes and create success metrics and KPIs
  • Manage technical and business negotiations, and partner with our legal team to develop and negotiate agreements and repeatable templates to scale to broader ecosystem partnerships
  • Bring executive stakeholders along through internal briefings regarding strategic direction, progress reports, key decisions and escalations as appropriate
  • Empower and educate our partner management functions to maximize their effectiveness in engaging and growing partners that are most relevant to these audiences
  • Oversight of inventory management & forecasting needs based on business growth & revenue guidance
  • Support scalable partnership and govern cost impacts by optimizing operational expense (OPEX)

Experience Required

  • 6+ years of experience in business development or partnership management
  • Financial Services industry experience preferred, but not required 
  • Experience translating strategy into an operational plan and drive to completion
  • Structured and analytical thinker with the ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete plans
  • Demonstrated strategic, analytical, and problem solving experience
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and project management skills
  • Ability to develop, review and negotiate complex contracts and familiarity with standard deal structures including financial and tiered pricing structures
