Senior Teamcenter System Administrator at Relativity Space
Team and Role Overview
Relativity is building humanity’s multiplanetary future. We invented a new approach to design, build, and fly our own rockets, starting with Terran 1 – the world’s first entirely 3D printed rocket. We are looking for a Senior Teamcenter System Administrator to be responsible for the Teamcenter PLM system we use to design and build Terran 1. This is an exciting, multi-faceted role because you will be working in a startup environment helping us meet our ambitious goal of launching a 3D printed rocket, with 100x fewer parts in less than 60 days. This role reports directly to the Director of Vehicle Engineering to ensure that our PLM systems and engineering teams are tightly synced.
The Mission/Outcomes and Objectives
To support our mission of changing people’s conception of the way rockets are built and flown, you will help the company build a responsive and robust PLM system. At Relativity we believe in complete ownership and this role is no different. Success will be measured in how well we configure our servers, data models, and applications to streamline both engineering and manufacturing.
Candidate Profile
In order to be successful in this role, you should be someone who thrives in ambiguity and is able to lead their own projects into completion. Ideally, you are someone who has come from a fast paced, aerospace environment, having completed difficult projects while collaborating effectively with other key groups.
On a day to day, you will be working within our CAD and PLM programs, NX and Teamcenter, managing workflows, planning upgrades, monitoring performance, working closely with IT, and supporting the user community.
