WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The Senior Systems Analyst will lead the ongoing maintenance and development of the Anaplan tool. Working closely with the Commissions Team, FP&A, and outside consultants, the Senior Systems Analyst will design, develop and deploy new features within the Anaplan tool. This role is part technical project manager, part administrator and part model builder.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Serve as primary system administrator for the Anaplan environment
• Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
• Complete regular internal system audits
• Manage data feeds and other integrations
• Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests
• Assist in training of new users, and grow the Anaplan skill set across the organization
• Effectively act as the liaison between users, vendors and the application development teams
• Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Advanced MS Excel and/or Access skills required
• 2+ years of Anaplan experience desired
• Strong understanding of Anaplan best practices and functionality desired
• Prior experiences with Commissions, Business Intelligence, and FP&A tools preferred
• Prior experiences working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred
• Skilled in MS Office products
• BS or BA in Business or Operations Management
• Analytical problem solver who, is intellectually curious, learns quickly and is excited by using technology to improve business processes
• Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude
• Organized, focused, self-directed, and innovative
• Able to design a modeling solution without explicit direction
• Ability to write complex formulas in Excel or other business modeling technologies and troubleshoot complex planning models
• Ability to convert end-user business requirements into solution functionality
• Familiarity with financial management systems, including financial modeling expertise; understanding of accounting principles, Financial Planning and Analysis, Balance Sheet, Cash flow and P&L concepts how to apply to planning and/or consolidation solutions
• Familiarity with sales performance management systems and sales operations process (quota setting, sales crediting, incentive calculation, territory design and management, etc.)
• Able to articulate design and documentation of requirements to cover business processes
• Translate requirements to Anaplan models with associated modules, lists / line items, and calculations as supported by multi-dimensional Anaplan platform
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
• Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
• Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
• Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
