ROLE SUMMARY

The Senior Data Analyst, Risk, reporting to the Sr Manager of Data Science, will own the operations of our AI Risk Platform and lead the design and development of our risk operations group.

This role is dynamic, quantitative, multidimensional, and highly cross-functional. You will partner with our Data Science, Risk, Product, and Finance teams to leverage our risk models to drive value for our customers and other key stakeholders. An ideal candidate, therefore, thrives at the intersection of data-driven storytelling and dynamic operations. 

On a typical day, you might combine the outputs of data science models with customer objectives to arm our client services team and later put together an execution plan to help one of our financial partners.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Use Looker and Excel to perform quantitative reviews of existing customers to drive value for our customers and financial partners
  • Act as connecting agent between data science team and client services to deploy our product
  • Execute underwriting to compliantly launch new business
  • Craft financial models and stories on top of our risk platform outputs to help inform key deals
  • Work with key executive stakeholders to define SLAs for risk and finance
  • Inform our hiring plan and org chart structure based on the needs you identify


QUALIFICATIONS

Our ideal candidate will have experience as listed below - or similar experiences from which to draw to execute the responsibilities listed above.

  • Experience: You have 3-5 years experience as a product manager, management consultant, investment banker, or in an operational role at a tech company
  • Self-starter: You have the desire and ability to at least partially define their own role and look for new value-creation opportunities
  • Intellectual curiosity: You want to open the hood of our systems and understand how the different parts of our business both compete and harmonize
  • Quantitative abilities: You know your way around an Excel model and may have written some SQL here and there
  • Great communicator: You know how to clearly and regularly communicate with all internal and external partners, bridge the gap between engineering and business conversations, cheer accomplishments, provide a feeling of momentum, and aren’t shy about voicing your concerns.
  • Customer-obsessed: You advocate for the end user/customer and prioritize their needs as they map to the business objectives. 
  • Results-focused with a bias for action: You know how to cut through the noise and hone in on the top priorities and initiatives that will have an immediate impact. You measure your success through progress towards quantifiable goals.
  • Collaboration: You know that execution requires collaboration across multiple functions within the organization and have a track record of developing relationships, earning trust, aligning stakeholders / building consensus, and creating traction through positive influence.

About the Interview Process:

All interviews will be conducted remotely through video conference. You will meet someone from People Operations, the Director of Product, other PM(s), and stakeholders to understand LeaseLock culture and your product.
