FFFStyle is a fashion concierge service. We indulge our customers with a highly personalized styling service based in fit, price and lifestyle preferences. The role of FFFStyle Senior Buyer is to develop Buying/Merchandising strategies to build our branded product, allowing us to present an assortment that feels both unique and relevant while delivering against strong financial targets.

What You’ll Do:

• Leads team in the development of seasonal business targets, product assortment, merchandise strategies, and key item positioning; ensuring that the assortment is compelling, commercially viable and supports overall business objectives
• Maintains comprehensive oversight of all phases of managing the business: OTB, sales reporting, etc., and communicates findings and action steps.
• Analyzes historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with our vendors. Strategically scout new brands & styles to support key product strategies and financial goals.
• Manage periodic competitive shopping to gain a comprehensive understanding of trends, UX, and pricing across the industry.
• Manages and communicates promotional recommendations and strategies.
• Supports a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented environment with peers and cross-functional team.
• Effectively manages and supports direct report to ensure job satisfaction and future talent development
• Travel as needed to market vendor meetings, tradeshows, and trainings.

What You’ll Need:

• 7+ years retail Buying/Merchandising experience, with 1-2 years managing others
• Possesses a clear understanding of financial measurements including: sales, gross margin, inventory productivity measures, etc. and how to impact them
• Able to interpret current business results to identify key learnings and develop future strategies
• Excellent communication with strong negotiation skills
• Ability to lead through change and ambiguity, able to work under minimal direction and excel in a fast-paced environment
• Strong in Microsoft Excel, aptitude to learn technical applications quickly
