EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT


WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?



This position is responsible for managing the Executive's schedule, calendar and details associated with various community and personal events, coordinating projects, managing confidential assignments, as well as coordinating executive travel arrangements, meetings and conference calls.


National Corporate Banking Division
As a member of our National Corporate Banking team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference through a signature client experience. Provide expertise and financing solutions to larger middle-market and mid-corporate-sized companies, headquartered in the United States. By listening and understanding the client's needs, the team delivers specialized service and industry-specific expertise to help companies grow and solve unique challenges.


WHAT WILL YOU DO?



  • Manage the Executive's schedule, calendar and details associated with various community and personal events
  • Coordinate projects, managing confidential assignments, as well as coordinate executive travel arrangements, meetings and conference calls.
  • Acts as a gate-keeper so the Executive can prioritize and maintain productivity.
  • Compose and preparing confidential correspondence, reports and other complex documents
  • Functions as a liaison to the Executive through regular interaction with all VIPs, including clients, bank executives, and colleagues
  • Develops effective relationships with colleagues.
  • Completes all required training.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Must-Have*

  • H.S. Diploma
  • Minimum 5 years executive administration experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years of basic computer experience required. (eg. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint.)

Skills and Knowledge

  • Must be a poised and polished professional with preferred 7 to 10 years of experience supporting a key executive.
  • Must be a self-starter and strategic thinker with the ability to take-charge and work well under pressure.
  • Requires the ability to multi-task and prioritize and manage projects.
  • Requires exceptional written/verbal communication skills particularly as it relates to good business correspondence.
  • Requires excellent organization skills and attention to detail and the ability to work independently without direct daily supervision.
  • Highest level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential matters.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
  • Self-motivated to learn and acquire new professional and personal skills as needed with a willingness and enthusiasm for self-discovery as it relates to personal success and accountability in the professional area.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Must be able to re-prioritize and re-focus energies.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required to communicate effectively with all levels of bank personnel and clients.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent project management skills. Must be a self-starter with a "can do" attitude
  • Proven organizational, interpersonal and customer relationship skills strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-oriented environment preferred.
  • Experience working in a bank environment highly preferred.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills preferred.
