Security Program Specialist

We’re looking for a Security Program Specialist (Event Security Specialist) to join our Global Security team!
What you’ll do:
Coordinate all aspects of event security for event functions in a variety of environments, as well as, participate in the planning of global events
Support the relationship building with local, state and federal law enforcement and government agencies for emergency response and coordination as it pertains to events
Provide security oversight and collaboration with XFN partners and Global Security to ensure safety and security is represented at assigned events
Respond timely to team inquiries and issues as they arise
Coordinate Snap Health & Safety team to include COVID-19 guidelines and testing requests for events, productions and meetings
Build security plans, and briefs to present to Global Security for events and productions
Maintain information and tracking measures for event security data for Global Security and business partners for program improvement
Routinely review event security processes and procedures and partner with GS Management for continuous improvement
Establish familiarity with finance and business processes
Assist with a metrics program that supports program continuous improvement.
Complete special projects as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge and understanding with the Event Security team processes, procedures and technology systems.
Basic familiarity in event and/or production security, incident management, incident response, situational awareness & de-escalation
Quality customer service oriented interpersonal skills, and special techniques to interact formally and informally with business partners internal and external
Flexibility to work non-traditional schedules including holidays, nights, and weekends to adapt to our 24/7 operation with ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Ability to work comfortably in a team environment, as well as individually
Strong time management, ability to multitask, and attention to detail capabilities
Ability to master Snap’s computer based technologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Minimum Qualifications:
High school degree or GED or equivalent years of experience
1+ year of experience in a corporate security environment with a focus on event and production support
Ability to lift up to 20.5 lbs. to support emergency response or relocation
Ability stay on your feet for extended periods of time for Incident Management or support to Event Security
Current CPR and Basic First Aid certification
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of event and/or production security experience in a global environment
2+ years of experience working with incident/crisis management
Understanding of external vendor/third-party relationships
