THE ROLE

Golden Hippo is currently looking for a Reputation Management Specialist who will be responsible for overseeing the online reputation of assigned brands, products, and gurus, replicating the customer’s search experience, ensuring it is always positive.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

• Diligent keyword research for given brands/products replicating the customer search experience and taking appropriate action based on search results.
• Work with Community Management Assistant to identify pain points in the customer’s experience and work with the necessary departments to implement any changes that could improve the customer’s experience.
• Monitor company intellectual property on various search outlets, take action to resolve infringement as quickly as possible.
• Escalate issues to the legal team when appropriate and document all info needed for legal team to send cease and desist notice. 
• Work with manager on compiling status of reputation reports for stakeholders. 
• Conduct thorough and accurate monthly reporting to identify total review counts and review averages across all given brands.
• Oversee collection and testing of customer reviews in various parts of the sales funnel and website. Ensure that we have a constant stream of reviews for all products. Monitor and report on trends seen in customer reviews.
• Manage all reseller activity for given brands, capturing unauthorized resellers and ensuring we are doing the most to control 3rd party product listings.
• Work with SEO team to drive rankings of owned platforms in SERPs and consult on which pages are considered positive or negative for our brand reputation, so they can prioritize SEO efforts.
• Take initiative on new branding opportunities with little hand-holding, ensuring that initiatives align with brand strategy.

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE

• Bachelor's degree is preferred
• 2-3 years of marketing experience, with an emphasis on brand reputation & SEO
• Must have impeccable attention to detail and relentless research skills. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Openness and ability to learn new concepts and systems quickly. 
• Understanding of the direct response marketing space and the reputation management field. 
• Ability to find "the missing piece" and implement marketing initiatives on a company-wide level. 
• Proficient understanding of intellectual property concepts.
• Impeccable written and oral communication skills.
