What we are looking for…

A strategic-minded and detail-oriented Director of Concierge & Experiences to build and deliver a first-class, curated experience to all current and future guests. This person will be responsible for creating the foundation for how AvantStay provides value-add services to our guests and engages with partnerships. The ideal candidate brings a deep network and experience driving new streams of revenue as well as the ability to identify opportunities to enhance the overall AvantStay guest experience. 

What you’ll do…

• Lead the Concierge & Experiences function to establish it as critical to the success of AvantStay, from both a commercial and guest experience perspective.
• Grow the Concierge & Experiences team by establishing resourcing needs, team norms, and operating models.
• Develop and execute our Concierge programming and strategy, including identifying, testing, and finalizing local vendors in all current and upcoming markets.
• Set team KPIs to understand progress towards goals and areas needing improvement, with a focus on revenue generation. 
• Understand the commercial value of a potential partnership and influence cross functional partners to support strategy and recommendations.
• Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders as well as with external third-party vendors through effective communication. 
• Design a vendor governance process including performance strategy, success metrics, and controls to ensure contract negotiations maximize value and minimize risk. 

What you’ll bring…

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; MBA a plus
• 7+ years experience in hospitality managing a diverse portfolio of third-party vendors operating on-site facilities; 3+ years experience building and managing teams 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
• Proven track record of building and scaling new business lines and operations; success managing teams in a remote environment a plus
• Ability to think strategically as well as tactically; collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Passionate about creating incredible guest experiences; willingness to do whatever it takes to provide white glove service to AvantStay guests 
• Experienced in managing and directing third-party vendor relationships; skilled in procuring and developing new vendor relationships
