Responsible for overseeing the accounting and cash management operations for GOAT Group, the Accounting team is essential to each department and their respective business goals. The team collaborates with stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure the financial health of the company through accurate and timely reporting, advising on business decisions, and ensuring payments to all parties arrive on time. In this critical role, you will join a group of strategic, detailed-oriented thinkers that thrive in a fast-paced environment while working cross-functionally to ensure the success of the company.


As a NetSuite Administrator, you will join our Accounting team, acting both strategically and tactically with stakeholders across the company, data and engineering in particular. You’ll be a key cross-functional contributor, managing NetSuite projects and implementations, troubleshooting, and making recommendations for improvements and enhancements. 


This role can be located at HQ in Los Angeles or remote.

In this role you will:

  • Use your NetSuite administration expertise to troubleshoot and optimize NetSuite for our Accounting team
  • Be a key stakeholder in the order to cash implementation process, understanding the flows of purchase and return transactions, their related Netsuite object creations and paths, and recognizing the accounting and GL impacts
  • Execute solutions for new strategic projects while supporting incoming production requests, including new revenue streams, new product lines, and new distribution centers
  • Collaborate with the third parties to complete the integrations between NetSuite and the third party’s software (for example, Ultipro, Bill.com, Expensify)
  • Train and support the Accounting team on NetSuite navigation and best practices
  • Project manage NetSuite system initiatives from inception to launch, providing requirements documentation, implementation, user testing support, and change management controls
  • Create a comprehensive data dictionary of NetSuite attributes and act as a liaison and subject matter experts for our data and analytics team as they build out financial reporting
  • Create reports, saved searches and dashboards for our Accounting team
  • Import data and ensure data integrity in our NetSuite instance
  • Create a roadmap for NetSuite improvements, tech debt reduction, and new areas of automation
  • Collaborate cross functionally closely with our Data, Analytics, Engineering, and Product teams Customize NetSuite where necessary to meet the requirements with an understanding of SuiteScript (actual development of Suitescript is a nice to have)
  • Document integration and process flows and conduct knowledge sharing sessions, providing clarity and recommendations on refining processes around business systems and subscription billing.

We are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or similar experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in ERP implementation
  • 5+ years’ experience working with NetSuite as an Administrator, Developer or Systems Manager, strongly desired
  • Accounting background; including knowledge of internal controls, and how they are applied within financial applications
  • Experience integrating NetSuite with other enterprise information systems, such as Salesforce, Google, and SAP, desired
  • Experience with billing systems, revenue assurance and financial systems auditing is preferred
  • Ability to complete a combination of short-term needs, while managing long-term projects
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Strong customer service orientation and effective in interfacing with internal customers
  • Capacity to thrive in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
