About The Role:

As the Drayage Dispatcher you’ll ensure the timely and proper delivery of Containers. You’ll work with asset and Owner Operator drivers to deliver loads and coordinate with Customer Success Representatives on any exceptions. Maintaining accurate data, tracking and tracing loads using mobile application and GPS data, maximizing driver satisfaction and efficiency is a priority for you

What You'll Do:

• Talk to drivers daily and help them resolve issues
• Check for on time pick up and on time delivery of MP loads
• Update metrics daily and weekly to provide visibility
• Check Steamship Lines information to ensure our freight can still be returned to the terminals 
• Push freight into the marketplace and assist with bundling fulls and empties to maximize operational efficiencies
• Manage delivery exceptions to speedy resolution
• Communicate daily with with our MP OPS Specialist and Capacity Specialist
• Ensure accurate routing data of all assigned containers within the TMSWork with Yard Management team on inbound/outbound scheduling for optimal yard efficiency
• Continuously improve operational processes to gain efficiencies and reduce issues
• Partner with the Product Team to continuously provide product suggestions to scale the Marketplace for users and drivers
• Other duties as assigned

What You'll Need to Have:

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
• Demonstrated ability to perform with grace under pressure
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Passion for the logistics industry
• Experience using multiple platforms, including Microsoft productivity software and google suite
• Passion for technology Suggestion: Drive to improve existing standards and processes
• Ability to multitask in a fast moving environment with the use of multiple tools, emails and driver calls
• Bilingual preferred
• Drayage or Logistics experience preferred
