In Strategic Operations (Strat Ops), we serve as the nerve center for operations, developing the operating strategy to achieve company-wide business goals. The Strat Ops team works horizontally across the company and within the broader Ops organization to enable business units to deliver products to customers with consistency, reliability, and scale. Further, we work closely with product teams to turn operational processes into scalable products or solutions.


As a Manager reporting to the Senior Director, Strategic Operations, you will build and execute core operational processes, oversee and project manage key initiatives, and serve as a trusted advisor by partnering closely with leaders across the company to develop insights and recommendations to take the business to the next level.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Sr Associates and Associates
  • Manage programs for the Strategic Operations team, developing strategies and processes to scale Fair operations
  • Manage teams to perform ad hoc strategy, research, modeling, and analytics projects to help guide decision making
  • Own several highly visible processes and deliver updates to executive stakeholders
  • Monitor business performance across relevant KPIs and conduct deep-dive investigations to understand the “why” behind how metrics are performing
  • Be a strong project and stakeholder manager
  • Have the ability to execute projects of varying urgency and scope with minimal guidance

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a competitive university
  • 5-8+ years of experience of consulting / investment banking / business intelligence / strategy / high-growth operations or startup experience
  • 3+ years of experience directly managing a team
  • Strong communication, organization and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong, demonstrated analytical and critical thinking ability
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Growth mindset: you seek out learning opportunities for yourself
  • Ability to work both independently with minimal guidance and cross-functionally with various teams
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, R is a plus
