Telco Partnerships Lead, International Markets
We’re looking for a Manager to join Team Snapchat! As a member of the International Markets team, you will be a part of a newly formed, highly visible, and strategic team driving to scale Snapchat around the world. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you’ll source, develop, manage and maintain strategic relationships with telecom operators to access billions of potential users, with a focus on our growth markets. This is a key global role to ensure that these important relationships, value propositions, and resulting programs meet the strategic objectives of both partners and Snap.
What you’ll do:
Develop and maintain direct relationships with key telecom operator partners
Effectively evaluate new business opportunities, analyze competitors, recommend strategies, and lead proposal/face-to-face negotiations to win new opportunities
Lead cross-functional teams to structure, negotiate, develop, implement, and deliver against strategic and complex agreements
Become the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, and maintain key senior level decision maker relationships with partners
Be an internal advocate for partners , proactively resolving business issues and regularly presenting updates on the status of existing and prospective partnerships
50% international travel expected
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years relevant experience working with or at telecom operators with a deep understanding of the space and the key global players
Preferred qualifications:
Professional services background in management consulting, investment banking, venture capital / private equity or law firms
Demonstrated ability to think strategically in terms of actionable recommendations
Attention to detail in implementing recommendations collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of management, internally and externally
Strong verbal, written communication and presentation development experience
Strong partner-facing communication skills at the C-level
Adaptability, passion, ability to learn and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Experience building and coordinating with cross cultural teams located in different offices
Experience working with international telecom operators
JD or MBA
