Desktop Support Supervisor End Point Computing and Enterprise Systems
We are seeking a Manager of IT Desktop Support to join our rapidly growing company and team. Our IT-Operations team is responsible for end user computing, systems Infrastructure, and site support. You will be providing support and supervising our Desktop Support operations. Maintaining, shaping, and building our IT support team and operations.

You will…
- Oversee IT support operations ensuring end user satisfaction
- Provide as escalation and coordination point
- Demonstrate best practice, develop individuals, and motivate the team to ensure the success of the company
- Manage daily staff activities including prioritizing work to be completed, schedules.
- Participate in goal setting and performance evaluation of staff, tracking effectiveness of professional development.
- Actively participate in the team’s daily tasking and support requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to technical assistance requests.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate issues to other teams as necessary
- Provide analysis of new technical requests by departments and how best to resolve
- Monitor and manage ticket process for adherence and improvement
- Participate in policy, process and procedure development and communication
- Develop and maintain Documentation
- Partner with various IT and other teams to establish escalation procedures and operating level agreements.
- Plan and implement roadmaps for software and hardware design, and upgrades across the company.
- Literally work with rocket scientists
You need…
- 4 years of experience in providing desktop support and preferably 2 years in a lead or supervisory position
- Knowledge of all IT area concepts and principles
- Experience in support ticket reporting and statistics
- Strong organizational skills, with strength to form policy and procedure
- Ability to communicate highly technical information in a clear and concise manner to both technical and nontechnical personnel
- Strong Windows desktop environments knowledge in enterprise environments
- Solid knowledge of Active Directory and Azure AD security controls
- Basic knowledge in networking, routing, subnets, VLAN’s and security protocols
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 support
- Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- Familiarity with tools such as UEM, SCCM, MDM, Imaging, ServiceNow, Backup systems,
- ITIL Certification
- Linux, Mac and tablet Support
