Relativity seeks a talented IT Technician to join a rapidly growing space startup. This position will support a growing team of engineers and operations staff with software and hardware needs. A high degree of autonomy is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide front-line technical support for Relativity Space employees.
  • Deploy (Install / Configure / Support) technology during on boarding, engineering projects and infrastructure enhancements.
  • Provide off-hours support where necessary to maintain desired service levels.
  • Ability to automate common tasks or to optimize processes/procedures to create paths of least resistance. 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years experience providing technical support in a professional environment at a small to medium company. 
  • Experience maintaining systems in a Microsoft Windows environment
  • A+, Network+, MCP or other certificates
  • Scripting knowledge highly desired
  • Linux and Networking experience a plus

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a United States Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.

According to Fritz Gruber, Relativity Space employees need one thing: to approach their work with wonder and relentless passion. “My job is to experiment with new technology every day,” Gruber said. “The ‘unrealistic’ challenges push me to reimagine what I’m doing.” While Gruber explores new approaches to welding and 3D printing, he is laying the groundwork for future engineers as well. “This pushes me to think outside the box and allows me to unleash all my creativity,” he said. “It can be frustrating when I fail, but the reward of succeeding is incredible.”
