IT Support Engineer

We are looking for an IT Administrator who is a self-starter with strong problem-solving capabilities and willingness to learn.
Under the supervision of the Chief Information Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining internal IT infrastructure components, improving internal automation tools, and helping to identify and resolve end-user issues.
What you'll do day-to-day
- Provide end-user support to SimplePractice employees
- Provide maintenance and improvement of Internal IT infrastructure
- IT-asset management and provisioning
- Management of internal networks
- Configure and maintain device management systems (Jamf)
- Internal IT security and compliance in line with HIPAA, PCI and HITRUST
- Engineer, implement, and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information.
- Educate the customer success group on routine problems, to allow them to resolve things directly.
- Assist users with IT-related issues on-site or remotely.
The ideal candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems (or equivalent) or higher degree.
- Technically savvy with various productivity applications (Slack, ZenDesk, Google Apps, Asana and others).
- You are a self-starter who is willing to learn and grow in the role
- You are accountable with consistent follow-through.
- You are a problem-solver and you do not stop at the first road block. You are constantly working towards solutions
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues.
- Experience in technical quality assurance.
- Record and document results and compare to expected results.
- Great documentation and communication skills.
- Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Passion, drive, energy, a sense of humor and a great attitude!
