But all of this is meaningless without great people. So right now we are looking for a IT Manager who will be responsible for managing the computer hardware, handling network, phone wiring, supporting the engineering team and software to ensure smooth set-up of our hardware. This is an exciting and diverse dual role between the People and Engineering Teams.
How does this role contribute to the cause?
Working directly with our VP of HR and our CTO you will be in charge of handling hardware and software support, resolving software errors, installing and updating software, on-boarding new hires, developing processes, installing and replacing hardware, and training end-users. They complete ongoing infrastructure, maintenance, and system checks. Additionally, the engineer is responsible for arranging and implementing office moves, including reinstalling computers, hardware, and cabling. In addition, we are looking for a person eager to grow and learn.
Who will be successful in this role?
To be successful in this role you will need to be a highly flexible multi tasker with a passion for interfacing with people as you will be working with all of our employees. We are looking for someone with 7+ years of experience working in a fast pace and hyper growth environment. You should have extensive experience managing outside vendors, planning and executing long term projects, and creating new IT initiatives and processes.
