As an IT Manager, you’ll be responsible for the configuration, installation, maintenance and ongoing support of various systems and technologies. You’ll work collaboratively with other team members in 2 primary geographic locations, to provide back-end systems and application support for mission critical, complex business applications. The desired candidate will have prior experience as an IT Manager working in a fast-paced environment. Initiative and self-motivation to constantly learn and refine expertise are the keys to success in this role. This position will report to the Associate Director of IT.
What you’ll do:
- Set up and configure Mac and PC desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, phones and networking equipment
- Maintain a database of company IT assets and software
- Conduct performance monitoring, testing and troubleshooting
- Provide support for incidents and outages and conduct root cause analysis
- Provide training to technical and non-tech end users
- Research and make recommendations on new software, hardware and workflow solutions
- Ensure redundancy and fault tolerance of critical business systems and processes
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in an IT Administrator/IT Manager role
- Deep understanding of Macintosh Computers and OS X
- Intermediate to Expert knowledge of the following:
- Windows 7, 8, 10
- TCP/IP networks
- Microsoft Office suite
- Maintaining an IT Asset Database
- Help Desk / working on IT Support Tickets and resolving issues
- Ability to diagnose hardware and software issues with accuracy and speed
- Ability to work efficiently and manage small projects with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills required
- True passion for delivering customer service levels which exceed expectations
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing and using the following:
- Office 365
- Box.com
- Google G-Suite
- Slack
- Video Conferencing Software and Hardware
(ex: GoToMeeting, JoinMe, Skype, Zoom, Webcams) - Shoretel VOIP phone system
- Supporting mobile phones (iPhone, Android)
- Cisco Meraki Equipment (Firewalls, Switches, Wireless Access Points)
