IT Help Desk Generalist (Temporary Assignment)

This position is for a temporary engagement through our staffing partner Yoh Services.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as point of contact for technical assistance within Naughty Dog (both software and hardware)
• Perform remote and local troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques
• Follow up with users and see problems through to resolution
• Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support
• Building bespoke workstations in-house
• Organizing and cataloging the IT hardware
• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware, software, and peripherals for users
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed

Requirements & Skills:

• Proven working experience in providing help desk support
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Windows Administration tools (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, and Bitlocker)
• Strong understanding of the Microsoft Windows 10 operating system (this is a must)
• Strong understanding of building PCs and PC hardware

• Operating Systems: Linux and Mac OS
• Languages: Python, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, PowerShell, Bash
• Software: Perforce, Wireshark, Sublime Text, Jira, Visual Studio, Pro Tools, Adobe Suite, Putty
• Scripting and automation
• Familiar with A/V systems
• Familiar with live streaming hardware and software
• Familiar with Sony PlayStation 4 hardware and software interfaces and peripherals
• Passion for games
