About the Job.

In this role, you will assist various departments and office locations in managing the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings and other facilities. You will also be responsible for planning, budgeting, and scheduling facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials, and other related costs. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assisting in the new hire process by preparing appropriate hardware/software and rolling out department-specific onboarding strategies
  • Troubleshooting IT related issues for hardware/software by testing, repairing, and maintaining equipment 
  • Supporting corporate infrastructure, tools, and systems, such as user directory administration and conference room setup
  • Collaborating with the Operations and Engineering teams to build, drive, and improve our tools and processes while also resolving any technical issues that arise
  • Managing facilities staff and hiring any contracted service providers needed to ensure completion of all maintenance services 
  • Acting as project manager for all facilities projects, including parking program, cleaning/maintenance, telecommunication, policies/procedures for facility use, receiving, etc.
  • Handling the coordination of building space allocation/layout
  • Initiating planned maintenance programs for a variety of office equipment (security system, HVAC, etc.)

What you have:

  • 3-5 years of IT support and facilities management experience 
  • Knowledge of IT fundamental concepts, systems, platforms, and tools
  • Working experience with Google Suite, Slack, and Zoom within both Mac and Windows environments
  • Strong background in project-managing tasks such as equipment maintenance, safety compliance, security policies/procedures, and vendor management
  • Experience planning and executing on budgets
  • Available for flexible work scheduling outside of regular office hours (M-F, 9AM-6PM)
  • CFM or PMP certification a plus
