IT Mobile Specialist

We’re looking for an IT Asset Manager, Mobile Services to join Snap Inc! This person will be responsible for assisting local and remote staff with mobile-related requests. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you’ll take on the operations of the IT procurement and inventory management function, and the maintenance of records and assets for the organization’s mobile devices. You will work collaboratively to define support best practices, drive adherence to process, and act as a strong project manager for IT Mobile Services. Working closely with our QA and Engineering teams, you’ll be appropriately forecasting new device releases, and ensure high-priority issues receive the right hardware for debugging.
What you’ll do:
- Plan and execute a mobility strategy and roadmap with appropriate stakeholder community
- Manage third party vendors to implement worldwide mobile device policy, procurement, and support, as well as help implement service management solutions for both iOS and Android
- Manage and maintain global EMM/MDM environments and other mobile infrastructure components
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to our mobile ecosystem
- Manage the maintenance of records and assets for the organization's mobility hardware
- Work closely with IT Client Engineering to keep device images up to date, and act as an escalation point for questions about MDM
- Interface with internal and external development and project teams to ensure mobile implementations are in line with standards
- Responsible for maintenance and communication of existing, new, and evolving mobility practices
- Create training and technical documentation for third party provider of Level 1/2 support
- Provide Level 3/4 support for mobility hardware, software and infrastructure related incidents.
- Optimize the lifecycle of an in-house library of testing devices, curated in partnership with QA and Engineering teams
- Manage our carrier accounts, along with the loaner fleet of devices
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related technical field
- 1+ years of experience providing support in a professional IT environment
Preferred qualifications:
- Natural problem solver who enjoys identifying ways to make things better
- Must be able to multi-task and demonstrate flexibility in managing multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on achieving goals through problem solving and collaboration
- Must be skilled at working cross-functionally with other IT and Engineering stakeholders
- Experience managing a queue of tasks, priority setting, and delegation
- Excellent customer service skills and great experience working cross functionally
- Experience partnering with and managing external vendors
- Experience with Enterprise Mobility Management solutions, such as Apple DEP, Samsung Knox, and Google Zero-Touch
- Familiarity with MDM solutions such as Jamf, AirWatch, Maas360, etc are a plus
