Internal Communications Manager

We’re looking for an Internal Communications Manager to join Snap Inc.! Working closely with the Internal Communications team, you will develop projects and manage programs that improve the sharing of information with Snap’s internal audience. Working from our Venice, CA headquarters, you’ll collaborate with various departments and regional offices to drive new projects and grow existing programs with the goal of raising awareness about company priorities and the work of its many teams.
What you’ll do:
- In close coordination with the Director of Internal Communications, you will manage existing programs and spearhead new initiatives — from the creation of new communication vehicles to the launch of programs and campaigns designed to further Snap culture — that will continuously improve the sharing of information with the internal audience
- Partner with business units across the company to help them frame and distribute announcements about important company updates
- Contribute to the evolution of the company’s new intranet; coordinate with key partners in the departments and remote locations, finding new solutions in the site’s functionalities that can address their communications challenges
- Increase the sharing of stories across geographies by working with representatives in the remote offices to generate content that can be shared through the Blue House Bulletin
- Define and prioritize unit needs, manage strategic initiatives, and document processes that improve the quality of internal communications at Snap
- Create and grow new initiatives that scale the impact of the Internal Comms team
- Develop long-term roadmaps for communications tools and processes
- Coordinate resources across multiple projects and teams
- Manage and track operational and creative projects
What we’re looking for:
- BA/BS in a relevant field
- 5+ years of relevant or equivalent experience in the tech sector and/or communications
- Strong writing skills
- Strong people skills and ability to engage with all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to operate independently, work creatively, exercise a strong attention to detail, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
- Exceptional problem-solving, and communication skills
- A passion for Snapchat and creativity!
