Job Description
The Integration and Delivery team are responsible for successfully implementing new business opportunities or changes to existing services into the International Media Operations team and wider international business. With responsibility across the Media Operations lifecycle from scheduling & playout to media ordering & fulfilment the team are experts at delivering new services across the end-to-end workflow. The breadth of the team's responsibility includes:
  • Business Development Support & Governance
  • Project Management, Delivery Methodology, Reporting & Accountability
  • Service Transition, Integration & Change Management
  • Global Workflow Optimisation & Productivity Improvement

Specifically: we require an Integration Specialist to join the team who will build and maintain an overarching knowledge of the end-to-end IMO workflows and processes, using that expertise to recommend, establish and communicate efficiency improvements. The role will be based in London and will involve some international travel.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work as a senior member of the Integration & Delivery team
  • Provide overarching knowledge of the end-to-end International Workflows
  • Impart authority on the impact of systems changes on business users
  • Assist projects with the implementation of new workflows or changes to existing processes
  • Investigate workflow failures and issues, identify the source of the issue and offer recommendations for resolution
  • Carry out continual service improvement by identifying opportunities for workflow optimisation and productivity improvements, driving process quality enhancements, improving communication and promoting correct adherence to the process
  • Author and own operational and user documentation ensuring it is maintained by those implementing changes to workflows
  • Carry out User Release testing of systems minimising the risk of disruption to workflows post release
  • Liaise with the International Super User community setting up and chairing regular working groups
  • Provide systems and workflow training as required

  • Ability to build trusting relationships with operational teams throughout the business identifying key expertise that exist in different departments
  • Eagerness to build knowledge and understanding of all areas of the workflow, not just areas of specialism
  • Exceptional written communication skills taking an organised and consistent approach to document creation, storage and dissemination with superior attention to detail in all output forms
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to look at multiple options and solutions when overcoming a challenge
  • Broad understanding of technical broadcast systems and operational workflows and ability to work collaboratively with technical authorities and workflow specialists
  • Inquisitiveness with the ability to fully evaluate why a workflow incident has occurred, establishing options for reducing the risk of further occurrences
  • Self-motivated to identify, champion and implement improvements to the workflows for the benefit of others
  • Assessment of wider impact of a workflow or development change with courage to escalate if implications have not been sufficiently considered
  • Ability to understand complex processes and convey them at a suitable level of complexity for the audience whether operational teams, development teams or business stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent time management skills with an ability to communicate across multiple time zones and territories
  • Training and guidance in group or individual setting on new processes, workflows and systems

Specific previous experience
  • At least 5 Years' operational experience, working in the media and broadcast industry.
  • Demonstrate experience and knowledge of high-level media workflows with specific detailed knowledge of key elements of that workflow
  • Proactive with excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication, planning and time management skills
  • Desktop skills - MS office, MS Visio, MS Project (or similar applications)
