Incident Manager, U.S. Trust and Safety at TikTok
This high speed role requires a great deal of complex problem-solving across time zones, and tireless entrepreneurial spirit. The US Trust and Safety Policy Team works to proactively identify safety risks on platform and codify policies to ensure our users are safe while using our platform and also have the freedom to express themselves authentically. - Lead and support a team that assess inbound emergency escalations and make immediate decisions based on a variety of complex factors and coordinate with internal and external partners including law enforcement to provide real world assistance to people in crisis. - Provide real-time summaries for cross functional partners related to ongoing and resolved emergency escalations. - Be willing and able to work with sensitive issues and content that includes but is not limited to child exploitation, graphic violence, self-injury, suicide which may be considered offensive or disturbing.
- 5+ years of professional experience in operations, people management, and/or business strategy and prioritization. - Strategic thinker with analytical and creative problem-solving skills. - Self-starter, intellectually curious and a creative individual who can operate in ambiguity. - Proven communication skills, demonstrated experience as a collaborative team player. - Highly organized with experience prioritizing multiple functions and tasks while managing their work time efficiently without compromising quality. - Experience working independently with impeccable judgment. - Demonstrated experience managing pressure. - Experience working or leading within a global team. - Fluency in English and at least one continental European language, mandarin is a plus
